Pls help tesc issues - superpotsky - 08-17-2013 Few days ago I checked my Liberal Capstone grade via TESC webadvisor and I was very happy that it was already posted and I have 15 credits left remaining. Today I checked again through tesc webadvisor and I and so mad and shocked because its back to 18 credits left remaining that I need to finish I dont understand. They took out the Introduction of Correction under Social Science general education req (which was originally in my initial evalutaion) and moved to free elective. They removed some of my credits from Army transcript and didnt count my Introduction to criminal justice. Ughhhh. What should I do. Pls help tesc issues - cookderosa - 08-17-2013 Submit a ticket and ask them to look at it again. AOJ and CJ always scare me because I see them land in social sciences just as often as they land in free electives. I haven't figured out their "system" for sorting it out. Pls help tesc issues - sanantone - 08-17-2013 My corrections course was not counted as a social science. However, Intro to CJ is usually counted as a social science. I think someone on this forum just got a list of tests that count as general education courses under the new requirements, and the Criminal Justice DSST was listed as a social science. It has long been counted as a social science even though the website lists it under human services. But, there is probably a mistake since your Intro to Criminal Justice course was not counted at all. Did you take it at a regionally accredited college? Pls help tesc issues - superpotsky - 08-17-2013 Thank you for the replies. Yes, I took those CJ courses from community college. I've already submitted a ticket and will also call on Monday. |
