Hi everyone, does TESC still allow local proctor for exams like testing center or community college test center?

As of May, I used my local CC testing center to proctor my midterm test. The final was a comprehensive report or presentation that was peer reviewed and criticized.

You can also test at a library.
Check TESC's webpage for options and submit a proctor request form. (or email your question to testing@tesc.edu). Some tests use Proctor U others use testing centers, other college etc.

You may want to ask them about this one, I think they switched all classes requiring use of their online proctoring service (ProctorU) since they moved everything over to Moodle. They may go case by case if using the online proctor is completely impossible in some circumstances...

I don't know why, but I'd rather go to a testing center to take exams; it just sees more legit. When I attended TESC years ago I used my local public library which had a branch right down the block from me and there was no exam fees either. I understand TESC wants to save money and don't want to grade paper exams anymore so I guess we're stuck with their new system.

I just took a TECEP and TESC got really pissy with me about who could proctor. I've been using the same proctoring site for the last 6 years - I take DSSTs and other college test there - TESC wouldn't approve it.
