Hi everyone,
I went ahead and paid TESC my application fee of 75.00 and sent them my transcripts from 1997 to see what I would receive credit for. That said, I've listed my credits below and had a few questions.
Credits from ECPI in 1997 (25 Total Credits)
ENG101 College Composition (3 Credits)
ACG101 Accounting I (3 Credits)
MTH105 Intro to Algebra (3 Credits)
CSA140 Intro to Operating Systems (2 Credits)
SPH150 Communications (3 Credits)
CET201 Microcomputer Upgrade/Maintenance (2 Credits)
PRG170 Networking & Telecommunications (5 Credits)
PRG120 Microcomputer Applns (2 Credits)
CSA130 Computer Database Aps (2 Credits)
Obviously a lot of the stuff won't apply to a BSBA unless they are general education electives right? Though I see there is a 3 credit requirement of Computer Concepts and Applications/Intro to Computers/CIS which I'm sure I'll get credit for.
My main questions are about Acc I, English Comp and Intro to Algebra. As much as I don't want to redo them I'm not sure I remember enough about the 101 classes to move to the others. Should I plan to do the 101's to help refresh to pass the 102s? I assume that since my English Comp was only 3 credits that TESC will require English Comp II.
Also, my company has some type of corporate agreement with TESC and I was told that if I sign up for 3 credits while paying per credit I can receive the NJ resident cost. (395.00 p/c, 1185.00 total) She also told me that if I did that it automatically would give me one year of enrollment, this would obviously be cheaper than paying 3062.00 for a year of enrollment. Has anyone heard this? If I did sign up for the pay per credit option and let the three credits expire it still seems like a better deal overall.
Any thoughts?

English 1, intermediate algebra and accounting 1 should all transfer to TESC with no problem. Intermediate algebra will be counted as general ed as you need algebra or quantative business analysis for the BSBA. If you are rusty with accounting I would recommend taking accounting 2 with Straighterline, should cost you $150 plus the book. Class is online, self paced and not that difficult.
One of your computer classes will probably satisfy the computer/cis requirement The remaining computer classes can probably be counted toward your GMS required classes and your communications/speech class will count as a humanities class.
