COSC Literature of Diversity - Tedium - 09-30-2013

So, I put in another application and I'm knocking out tests. I have everything planned out for my BA in English, except for this "Literature of Diversity" requirement. I don't remember this being a requirement last year.

Admissions said I had to wait until I was enrolled again to talk to my advisor about a suitable class. He did tell me for sure that COSC does not offer class that satisfies this. I was hoping that one of you knowledgeable ladies and gents might know of a DL course that knocks out this requirement, or at least know of someone else I can ask to get a straight answer. I e-mailed the registrar's office several times, but received no reply.

My initial knee-jerk is to say CSU-Pueblo's "Women Writers of Science Fiction" or LSU's "Survey of Women and Literature" would cover it, but I know that the seemingly common sense answer is sometimes wrong.

Thoughts?
