Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated. This will be my first level 301 TECEP exam. A little nervous with 3 weeks to prepare. I took and passed this TECEP two months ago. I don't know my score as TESC does not give it out only a "CR" if you pass. Stevenson Operations Management was an excellent resource. If you can't get the textbook in time, go to their companion website, the test questions (multiple choice not T/F) are very similar to the TECEP questions. You're allowed to bring a calculator to the test since there are a few math questions, but not many at all and you can probably survive without it. Some people have reported the Instantcert was enough, but I know if I had only used Instantcert, I would have failed. You only need to get 60/100 to get a CR, so it is doable with some study. Definitely know MRP, precedence diagrams, TQM, queue theory, project mgt, production systems, JIT, lean, SPC, control charts, aggregate planning, lean, EOQ, Supply Chain Mgt, transportation, etc. Go the TECEP guide on TESCs website, it does a good job covering the topics covered. |
