• Is the coursework mostly a whole bunch of writing and initiating/responding to discussions with classmates?
  
• Are you allowed to take courses out of sequence or is there a pre-determined sequence that you have to follow once enrolled?
  
• Have you or do you know of a forum member who has successfully transferred in credits earned after you're already enrolled? If so, was it difficult to do?

My plan is/was to acquire as many credits as I can through CLEP, independent study, FEMA, and Straighterline and then transfer to one of the Big3. I already know a little about Ashford, their resolved accreditation issues, cost, reputation, etc. plus I did chat with an advisor and they give lots of information that's already on the website but aren't really good about giving the inside scoop. So I decided to stop lurking and come to you guys for help.
