TESC requirements - dbwdb - 02-17-2014
I have 36 credits through TESC- 8 Business Courses, Comp I & II, 2 Social Science courses
50 credits -religious courses through a religious college, not accredited
6 credits through Charter Oak-Creative Writing
Taking another 12 credits -religious courses, 15 general ed requirements-MAT 101, BIO 101, HRS 101, Comp applications, PSYCH 101
What would I still need to take to complete a liberal arts degree through TESC? Would they accept 62 credits religious courses?

Hi There,
Since you have taken courses at TESC, you presumably have access to a TESC advisor--I would suggest you speak to them regarding the requirements. As far as I know, TESC will not accept credits from unaccredited colleges, although you may be able to do a portfollio assessment for some of them. I doubt they would give you that many credits for religion though, unless you decide to major in religion. Take a look at what courses you would need here for a liberal arts degree here:BA in Liberal Studies Degree at Thomas Edison State College. Hope this helps!

Which religious college? They might have some sort of accreditation through NCCRS or ACE.
