EC or Charter Oak for Information Technology Bachelors Degree (Accelerated) - Dabbu - 02-20-2014 Hi Friends, This forum is well resourced for people like me, thanks to all of you for putting such valuable information here. I am an IT professional with more than 15 years of experience, hold lot of IT certifications most notable is CCIE (R&S and Voice). I am working professional no problems with job at all. Most IT firms for techies are not strict with degree requirements a good experience is more than enough. I wanted to get into management where I run into requirement of regular master degree specializing in IT. I am in touch with EC and CO for my bachelors degree in IT, I didn't touch TESC because I don't have GED, both colleges need 60 credits non technical EC (Arts and Sciences) and CO (Liberal Arts) nobody has clear list of test I should take to complete the requirements and they seems to be little hesitant in providing this information. I would be grateful if somebody guide me the best approach to complete this degree in accelerated form by testing CLEP/DSST/UXCEL/TCEP and PLA as I have years of experience to use or any specific IT certifications. any advise from students who currently pursuing IT degree from these colleges or who already done it in same fashion would be great help. I want to collect as much credits possible before I enroll into either college. Many Thanks, Dabbu CCIE (R&S/Voice) EC or Charter Oak for Information Technology Bachelors Degree (Accelerated) - rebel100 - 02-28-2014 Any of the Big 3, EC, COSC, or TESC are great accelerated choices. I suspect that TESC might edge the other three out in this particular arena. I understand all three will offer some credit for professional CS related certifications, but as I recall TESC offers the most. I can't speak intelligently on EC, but COSC states that applicants with at least 9 credits are eligible for admission. Students without a High School Diploma or GED can be admitted, but are not eligible for federal financial aid.
