TESC Academic Eval question - what happens to credits transferred after applying... - OfficerA - 03-16-2014 but before enrolling/starting class? The reason I ask this is because when I first contacted the "military" specialist from TESC I was advised to apply and transfer my credits at the time (CCAF + CLEPs/DSSTs) ASAP, in order to lock in my degree plan with the current requirements. As I was still in the middle of knocking out a few more CLEPs/DSSTs I went ahead with their advice and did so. At this point my total credits are sitting at 57 still but I have at least 2 CLEP/DSST credits that are not being reflected on the eval that were accomplished after I initially sent them my CCAF + CLEP/DSST transcript. I heard that they would evaluate your transfer credits in two instances at most, but don't have a problem after you enroll (as a matter of fact the Advertising class reflected immediately after I enrolled in it to start in April). For the CLEP/DSST credits I sent in between applying and enrolling, did they essentially just vanish so that I would have to order a new transcript of them? Or should I check in with an advisor to see if they just haven't had the time to evaluate them at this time? (they didn't name it, but the most recent CLEP they received, most likely Macroeconomics, was posted on the OSS on 10 Mar 2014). Thank you all, and sorry for the rash of questions/topics as of late; I'm really bought in with completing this degree at TESC but there's a lot of new territory I'm going through that I just need clarification on. TESC Academic Eval question - what happens to credits transferred after applying... - UptonSinclair - 03-16-2014 I am afraid I don't know enough about TESC to answer your question, but I wanted to tell you there is nothing to worry about with a rash of questions. These questions are one of the reasons everyone is here. Many of us started out with a bunch of questions. And even after a year I of using the forum I still have tons of questions that come up. |
