The Institutes ? Techinical writing? - morig - 07-27-2014 While browsing the ACE credit national guide for a way to complete my technical writing requirements I came across The Institutes , by the look of it they have lots of courses available and they claim that schools such as charter oaks and excelsior accept their courses College & University Programs while this is all goood and such what really got me interested was this statement (The American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT®) has evaluated thirty-five (35) of The Institutes' courses. For more information, visit the ACE CREDIT website at College Credit Recommendation Service (CREDIT). ) and this link http://www.theinstitutes.org/doc/ace.pdf #6 is business writing which they state is ACE recommend for Business writing or technical writing, I was extremely excited when I saw this. Unfortunately i was unable to find it on the ACE website. So i decided to contact them asking about it and now am waiting for a response. Has anyone here dealt with this institute? Oh and on a side note one ethics course the have (Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct - CE Filed (OL) ) is ACE recommend- In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 2 semester hours in ethics for insurance professionals or professional liability insurance. is only 5 bucks! so.. maybe someone can use it as an elective filler? Thanks guys. |
