TESC Free Electives - Urillusion - 08-07-2014 Hello Everyone, I was recently searching for what credits could be applied to TESC's free electives, as those are the only ones I have left for my Nat. Science & Math BA. I happened upon this site, and all the talk of FEMA credits. Since FEMA credits are no longer accepted, what would be the quickest way to fulfill these? I am a noob when it comes to getting through degrees quickly. Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! cheersmate TESC Free Electives - michaelfrye1970 - 08-07-2014 NFA can get you 3 credits TEEX can get you 6 more. CLEP Humanities should also be pretty easy for another 6 credits. TESC Free Electives - KayV - 08-07-2014 If you don't have at least 24 hours in TESC classes or TECEPs already, you should try to fill up your free electives with TECEPs you'd like. That way you could avoid paying the enrollment fee by using the Pay Per Credit option. Also, Saylor has several courses available for a ProctorU fee, and if you haven't maxed out your ALEKS credits yet you could use those. Congrats on being so close to graduation! I am unable to find the organization on the ACE website It's on the site but you have to search for it under National Emergency Training Center (NFA): ACE CREDIT | The National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training All but a few of those courses are for classroom-based learning but they have a few that are online. Their website also says that online learning is not available until 8/12 due to upgrades they are doing. You can complete these three courses: Q118, Q137, and Q318 by using their website at NFA Online | Distance Learning Training for the U.S. Fire Service TESC Free Electives - UptonSinclair - 08-07-2014 If I needed quick credits, I would go for the 6 credit CLEPs. |
