Does anyone know if these duplicate at TESC? I am looking to fullfill both the programming language requirement and an additional Elective for my CIS area of study (since Saylor focused on java and SL focuses on C++).

If anyone knows of any other cheap/quick CIS elective courses that are available or that they'd recommend that'd be helpful. Currently I only have TECEP for Networking and a ? beside this straighter line course.

Saylor's Intro to Computer Science transfers over as Intro to Computer Science. Even though it has a programming component, it is not counted as a programming course. It can be used in the business core.

Also, make sure you have the required 12 UL courses (assuming BSBA CIS). They are a bit harder to find.

Yeah, and I'm not sure if any 100-level credits will be allowed in the area of study outside of the programming requirement. For the general management area of study, they are very picky about which business courses can go in the AOS. For example, Principles of Supervision is not allowed because it's too introductory even though it's a 200-level course.

Are DSST Management Information Systems and/or DSST Fundamentals of Cyber Security considered upper level for this purpose?

Yes, they are. DSST Fundamentals of Cybersecurity is CIS-344; DSST Management Information Systems is CIS-301.
