TESC Upper Level Social Science Exams - KayV - 12-21-2014
Recently I've gotten PMs from people who are wondering about upper level social science exams, given that DSST is retiring several of our old friends (Money and Banking, Western Europe since 1945, Modern Middle East, Soviet Union). You can still complete a TESC major in social science using the following upper level exams and the Capstone:
DSST Fundamentals of Counseling PSY-331
DSST Organizational Behavior PSY-361
DSST Substance Abuse SOS-305
DSST History of the Vietnam War HIS-351
TECEP Abnormal Psychology PSY-350
In addition, there are several UExcel exams that will work toward these requirements, but they are more expensive and apparently more tedious. UExcel exams are from Excelsior and Pearson, and also charge a $50 fee for 2-hour exams and a $60 fee for 3-hour exams in addition to the costs listed below.
