I am really looking for 2 main criteria..
ACE approved, (damn near free (under $50) or free) and online
I know about
NFA
ALEKS
TEEX
Sophia (sp)
straighterline
Torah

There's also Saylor, with only the $25 ProctorU fee for their approved courses.

The Kaplan PLA course is free and counts as intellectual practical skills/gen ed at TESC. If you're willing to switch to COSC, they still accept FEMA.

Any chance that you have or can obtain foreign language ability? At $25/credit, you can get a big chunk here:
New York University Foreign Language Proficiency Exam
Upper and lower level credit, $300 for 12 credits, $400 for 16 credits

FEMA is only gone at TESC, EC and COSC still accept them. At COSC they are accepted free of cost.

ACTFL language testing is much cheaper. $139 for one exam. Gets you max 14 credits.
If you can do writing and speaking which accounts to 2 exams then you can get upto 28 credits. Crazy!

Can you tell me more about actfl language testing? I looked into it a while ago but didn't get very far.

Sure. You can simply go through the document I have attached. It's a brief overview but sufficient enough to get a feel of the tests.

Hello, Will COSC accept FEMA directly without them being washed? I am at EC and finishing some straighterline courses. I would switch schools in a heartbeat! It will cost me $2640 to wash all of my credits at Frederick Community College.
