Fastest Way To Clep a AA+ Meet Residency requirements? - FETHOM4693 - 03-27-2015

Hi, I just started taking CLEP tests and I was looking into which school would offer me an AA-General Studies or AA with the most acceptance and fewest residency credits for their degree program. Any suggestions will help, I've looked around a little, seems like I've been digging into dead ends. I understand I have to take classes; ie capstones, residency etc. Thank you guys!

In theory, if you're at TESC, you can do it in 12 weeks. Technically speaking, you could be enrolled in the capstone while completing the rest of the degree via testing. In reality, that's pretty amazing to consider, but nothing would surprise me. I've seen people here complete degrees at warp speed.

At this writing (3/27/2015), TESC does not have any residency or Capstone requirement at all for Associate in Arts (General Studies) degrees. The kicker is that it would cost around $4000 for annual enrollment, technology, and graduation fees.

The workaround is that by taking four TECEP exams, you can enroll under the Pay Per Credit tuition plan. Your four TECEPs will cost $111 each, and you would not have to pay the breathtaking $3000+ enrollment fee.

Do you have any credits already?

I found this general plan I made a while back for one way to incorporate both 6-hour CLEPs and four TECEPs into an AA degree. I think it was for someone who needed a degree fast for his military career.

TESC AA General Studies
1. CLEP College Composition 6
2. ALEKS Intermediate Algebra 3
3. ALEKS College Algebra 3
4. Kaplan PLA 3
5. CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Literature 6
6. CLEP Social Science and History 6
7. DSST Environment and Humanity 3
8. TECEP Technical Writing 3
9. DSST Business Ethics and Society 3
10. CLEP Intro to Sociology 3
11. DSST Anthropology 3
12. Any General Ed TECEP 3
13. Any General Ed TECEP 3
14. Any General Ed TECEP 3
15. Any 6-hour General Ed CLEP 6
16. Any 3-hour General Ed exam 3

Curious. We've been getting a lot of questions for AA's lately. Is something on Google linking back to this site?
