I want to use mainly SL and one or two DSSTs to fulfil all requirements if possible.
My planned UL credits are:

Humanities: SL Business Comm, SL Intro to World Religions, SL Business Ethics,
Social Science: DSST MIS,
Natural Science: DSST Substance Abuse
LBST Capstone

What am I missing? Thanks!

I tried as best as I can to make a degree plan (see attached). I'm not all too familiar with the Liberal Studies option. If you haven't already, check out the degree plans on the degree forum wiki.

Hopefully someone can take a look at the spreadsheet and correct me and fill in the blanks.

You have a bunch of computer courses, it may be possible to finish a BSBA in CIS just as quickly. Have you researched this already?[attachment=924]

What is your ultimate goal? Is there a deadline for the degree or do you just want it completed?

Alot of the planned credits you have don't really line up, but I'll wait to hear what you wish to achieve before providing further suggestions. It's not a significant amount of additional work to get a more focused degree (instead of liberal studies), however if you need it for a promotion or something pressing, liberal studies may be the best bet. I generally don't advise rushing to a generic degree if it's possible to specialize.

In planning your credits, you may want to also think about which tuition plan you will be on, as that may also affect how you plan your credits.

I just learned about a new position at work that I will probably need a degree for. I really need it to be done by end of July. I am also interested in the ASBA using TECEPs to save money, but don't know if I could do it fast enough. Any thoughts? For the ASBA I would need
A. Microeconomics OR Macro Economics
B. Principles of Managerial Accounting
C. Business Law
D. Principles of Management
E. Principles of Marketing

I would also need a global diversity and an ethics course I think.I kthink that I can take everything I lack through SL. Does that sound like it would work?

In all honesty though, a BA would be better than an AA or ASBA, even if the BA is generic... just how it is at the company I work for. Is it possible to get all UL credits for the Liberal Studies, Humanities or Social Science degree with only SL / similar sources of credit?

I would have been working on finishing a degree sooner, but we had a baby recently and I was not aware that a new position would open up in the coming months. Thank you for all of your help so far!

What do you think about TESC's AAS in Applied Computer Studies. I think that I could apply, take the cap stone and graduate? What about the AS at COSC? I have enough credits, but am not sure if they would all apply correctly.

Did you see the attachment I provided? I was hoping someone would be willing to help you fill it in, but besides the capstone, you only need 2 upper level courses.

Which courses were earned at the 2-year school, and which courses were earned at the 4-year school? It's important to know because TESC may award upper level credits for some lower level credits earned at a 4-year school.

The courses in the 1st post listed above "Database Concepts" were all earned at a 4 year school. The ones below it are all 2 year.
