I am at the 66 credit mark and find myself making little to no progress over the last month. Some of that is due to analysis/paralysis while part of it is due to work projects as well as raising my three little ones (two in diapers) but I am ready to go full-steam ahead and get this done. This forum got me from 0 credits to 66 in less than a year so I figured this was the best place to turn to.
After some great advice from mednat, I registered for the TECEP Sales Management and bought the previous edition of the recommended study material but have been hesitant to schedule the test as I cannot find much out there on the test format other than what TECEP offers on their website. I don't know why but the TECEPs just seem a little intimidation and with my company paying for these exams (as long I pass) I am a little hesitant in moving forward unless I can gain a confidence level above 50/50. Charter Oaks is not a partner school in my works educational assistance program so I chose TESC over Excelsior also from great advice from this forum. I looking into all options to achieve my BSBA from TESC such as Penn/Foster and other sources of transferrable credit. I seem to get the runaround a bit with TESC when I inquire about credit for these classes and cannot seem to get a straight answer. I am attaching my degree plan and here is where I begging advice.
* TECEP Sales Management - Has anyone taking this exam and does anyone have specific feedback?
* TECEP Exams - I seem to do better studying on general subject matter knowledge rather than learning specific points unique to a single textbook perspective. I think that is why I have had success with CLEP/DSST. That coupled with the fact it's hard to undue what I have learned in my on the job training over the last 20 years and I love to finish my studying with new knowledge and open mind on how to apply it. Are there any recommend TECEP exams that don't require studying a specific textbook?
*Penn Foster - Any recent success in with TESC on gaining credit or insight with any of these courses? I have to admit that the fact they offer some un-proctored exams is intriguing to me. Not because that means I have to study less, but how convenient it would be to have to schedule tests and find time to either find a testing site or find a quiet place for a few hours with a webcam fixated on my eyes.
I am up for a big promotion later this year and senior executive is on me (in an encouraging way) to get this done to ensure I don't hit any roadblocks now or with future advancement opportunities. Because the cost of my education has been so cheap thus far, I am not overly concerned with whether I obtain my degree using the per-credit or enrolled option as TESC. If there is an option that gets me there much quicker it would be well worth the additional expense of the portion my company would not cover.

TECEP test material is taken straight from the recommended textbooks, so I highly recommend you get a copy. I have taken the Operations Management TECEP and after reading it, if someone didn't read an OM text, they would definitely fail, but don't let that discourage you because I didn't study the text in depth.
I haven't taken or reviewed the TECEP you plan on taking, but I know what helped me with mine was accessing the book companion website and also finding the test bank questions online. The questions on my exam were similar to the test bank questions and helped me to concentrate my studying.
