I need to select developing technology or an innovation that I believe will have a significant impact over the next decade. The technology or innovation you choose should currently be in the developmental stage and not yet be in everyday use.

Any great ideas?

As an old timer who remembers when mobile phones, computers and the internet were imaginary things of the future, one of the things I have been waiting for is a jet pack type of personal flying device. I know they have been in the development stage for years but if it ever happens it will have a significant impact.

What about a device that would completely power a home - no reliance on the Grid. I believe Tesla Corp. recently announced a breakthrough on this -- but I think it'll be quite a while before we can buy one.

That is interesting except they haven't truly defined what they are intending to create and my topic has to be researched with at least 8 difference sources. Thanks though!

I've heard about that...off grid solar using panels and home batteries. I'm going to look more into that. Thank you.
