How long do the TEEX Cybsecurity courses take? - mpie18 - 08-13-2015 Title says it all. I'm thinking about taking all 3 of them. Could it be possible to finish all 3 of them in 2 weeks within 3-4 hours per day? How long do the TEEX Cybsecurity courses take? - hightecrebel - 08-14-2015 If you already know most of the material, don't actually do the pre-tests, and are able to just skim through the modules, then yes. I took a little over 4 weeks, only working on them ~2-3 hours a day. I took a little over 4 weeks, only working on them ~2-3 hours a day. I don't have a background in IT/IS, so it'll probably take me closer to 4+ hours per day then? Although I must admit, I'm getting better at skimming material and picking up stuff quickly (I've been banging out exams once every two weeks since January). Some modules are easier than others, and you get multiple chances to take the post-module quizzes that actually decide your grade for the course. "...For Everyone" has the less-intensive modules, "...For IT Professional" had the most intensive, at least for me. "...For Business Professionals" seemed a bit more scattered, with some being relatively straightforward and others requiring a lot of similar details remembered. Honestly, the best thing to do is just sign up for the modules and start working on it. You have six months from the date you enroll in the first module to finish that course set, so even if it drags on a little and overlaps with something else, you can just cut back the time you spend on it. How long do the TEEX Cybsecurity courses take? - cookderosa - 08-14-2015 My 8th grade son did them last year. He did all 3 courses, which isn't really an accurate - it's 10 courses that are rolled into 3 each, 2 credit awards. He did all 10 courses in 8 weeks working M-F about an hour a day. How long do the TEEX Cybsecurity courses take? - jmgst71 - 08-14-2015 I only did two of them, but they each took me about three nights of a couple hours each night. Hmm, then it looks like it should be possible to complete all of them 3-4 hours a day within 2 weeks. Wow, cookderosa, your son have some drive. And jmgst71, which two did you take? The reason I don't sign-up now is because I prefer to do one course at a time... For example, I didn't realize you needed to register for TECEPs the month prior to taking them, so I'm sitting here reviewing Strategic Management for September (I wanted to take it over this weekend) while studying Saylor's Corporate Communication in the meantime - and it's driving me nuts.
