Ideas for Classes??? - Hope11 - 09-02-2015

I am still deciding between TESC and COSC but I am definitely leaning towards TESC to do a BA in liberal studies. I am wondering if anyone has advice for knocking out these general ed courses?

Oral Communications
Quantitative Lit
Information Lit
Civic Engagement
Ethics
Human Culture (3 credits needed)
Natural World (4 credits needed)

Will Straighterline/Sophia/or Saylor work for any of these? Like business ethics for the ethics requirement? Science with a lab for natural world? I will test out as a last resort but I would rather do self-paced online classes.

I haven't seen my eval for COSC yet but I was so happy that some of the SL courses I took transferred as UL for TESC!

I need about 10 credits for liberal arts (3.33 UL, 6.33 LL) which I think will be easy to figure out. And the rest are electives (20 GE and 24 Free)...for these I am thinking of starting with the Kaplan PLA course, TEEX courses, and a few more ALEKS courses...and then perhaps more from SL/Saylor/Sophia. What do you guys think? Oh, and I probably will just knock out as many classes as possible, pay the enrollment fee, take the capstone, and graduate without going over a year of being enrolled.

Thanks so much guys! It is really exciting to see the light at the end of the tunnel...even though I am less than half way through hehe Wink

TESC gave their Gen Ed requirements different names, a little confusing. Human Cultures is either humanities or social sciences. Oral communication is a speech course. Business ethics satisfies the ethics requirement. I think the SL business ethics course is coded as PHI. The natural world requirement does not require a lab but SL offers some science courses with lab that would satisfy the 4 credit requirement or two 3 credit courses.
