Recent TESC and teex experience? - CM1999 - 01-02-2016 I'm curious how tesc has been applying the teex courses. I need some gen Ed elective credits. Will they use them there? Recent TESC and teex experience? - AmeliaC - 01-09-2016 I'm curious, too. I read they don't take FEMA but do they take FEMA via TEEX? Nothing to do with TEEX, but have you taken the Kaplan PLA course, or the Insurance Ethics course? Both of those are GenEd and free. They were just applied this month and all were applied under electives. I already have the 6 electives needed for the BSBA plan. So none of these are actually counting towards my degree program they are parked in "other courses". Anyone had them applied differently on a BSBA? Before July 2015, the BSBA had business electives, so the TEEX courses could go there. Now that there are no longer business electives, TEEX courses only fit as CIS electives, free electives, and computer studies electives (BSAST in Technical Studies and AAS in Computer Studies). I do not know if they will count as IT electives for the BSAST in IT. Recent TESC and teex experience? - Life Long Learning - 01-20-2016 TESU is NOT consistent with their FEMA policy. Maybe the University status is going to their head.:ack: Recent TESC and teex experience? - sanantone - 01-20-2016 Life Long Learning Wrote:TESU is NOT consistent with their FEMA policy. Maybe the University status is going to their head.:ack: What do you mean by not consistent? They stopped accepting FEMA IS courses a couple of years ago because they neither have NCCRS nor ACE approval. The TEEX courses have ACE approval, but their equivalencies have changed. TESU normally does this with new course/exam options. It takes them a little while to figure out how they will be transcribed. The last I heard, Excelsior won't accept the TEEX courses at all. Recent TESC and teex experience? - Life Long Learning - 01-20-2016 TESC took my 44 SH Credits for Prior Learning (CPL) and 30 SH Credit by Assessment (CBA) from the same community college and they neither have NCCRS nor ACE approval. All three of my personal credits are EM (FEMA)/CBA/CPL and are official community college "resident credits" and backed by Regional Accreditation not the lesser accepted National Accreditation. TESU is NOT consistent with their FEMA policy.banghead Excelsior College posted all my 79 resident and IS converted FEMA EM courses on my official EC Transcript, but not my official ACE Transcript yet. I am still waiting. I am still waiting for the COSC eval. sanantone Wrote:What do you mean by not consistent?
