[TESU] Online Student Services going down way too frequently - Nixi - 04-23-2016 On Friday Online Student Services kept going down for me, but thankfully I was able to access it at least once. Today was different, I've been trying to login to Online Student Services at different points throughout the day, and any time I try to log in I get an "Unable to access the registry database for the request" error message (it doesn't load through myEdison either). It's really frustrating and I hope this won't be a normal occurrence at TESU. :ack: [TESU] Online Student Services going down way too frequently - davewill - 04-23-2016 This link will often work even when going through MyEdison doesn't. In fact it just plain works better all the time. https://webadvisor1.tesc.edu/WebAdvisor/WebAdvisor [TESU] Online Student Services going down way too frequently - Nixi - 04-23-2016 davewill Wrote:This link will often work even when going through MyEdison doesn't. I only used myEdison as a last resort and even that doesn't load Online Student Services. I'll just wait until Monday, but thanks. [TESU] Online Student Services going down way too frequently - AngelaP - 04-24-2016 Didn't they just do an upgrade last week? There is a note on their page to clear your browser history if you are having problems. Also, I was just able to log in to MyEdison. [TESU] Online Student Services going down way too frequently - Al2010x - 04-24-2016 It's back up now but slated for maintenance next two days per the announcement on student portal. I had the same issues yesterday. I had the same issues yesterday. Yes, thankfully I noticed it was back up later last night. The announcement says that just the myEdison portal will be down from April 25 6 AM ET to April 26 6 AM ET, but the Online Student Services should still be accessible during the maintenance. The system might have been glitching, but I kept getting a message that I was using an old password and should log in with the updated one. After OSS went back up last night, I was able to log in with the password I've always been using. Edit: I checked just now, and My Edison is telling me that my password has expired. This is the current one I'm using for OSS. I went ahead and changed my password in OSS, and the new one works in My Edison. I guess passwords expire for My Edison, but not OSS even though they're linked. |
