Failed project - SuzanneD - 05-07-2016

I have to redo my project for PF Retail Management
Course Number: MKT340. I am so irritated. I wish they would just average in the scores, but no, that is not how this works. It is not total points averaged together, you actually have to pass each "test". :ack: It just seems like a lot of busy work answering the same questions ,just worded differently, multiple times. I am not used to failing anything. I got a 92 on my strategic management project. I guess I will have to suck it up and get busy. More working less whining.

I'm sorry, I understand your frustration. I'm sure you'll do better on the second try, good luck!

I'm wondering how it works when you fail a project/final exam at Penn Foster. Do they make you pay again for the course and start over, or do they just let you redo the project and resubmit?

I have to resubmit the project and if I pass the project I can take the final.

I feel your pain. Retail Management isn't an easy P.F. course. I'm taking that one as well right now. I've been working on the final paper for 2 weeks, its a lot of knowledge to put down on paper.

I didn't cite my citations when I took Strategic Management and Ms. Evans returned my paper with a 1% grade. So then I corrected it, added citations and a proper reference page, and still waiting for that paper to be graded. Its been almost 12 days, 4/27 since I turned it in. Hopefully she isn't dragging her feet just not to pass me.

I definitely can relate, all the P.F. classes aren't as easy as some other management ones. I wish their was a grading standard policy that teachers had to grade papers within a certain time frame or context though, working thru all my other credit sources like straighterline and turn it in assignments, I've just never had to wait for a different credit granting facility to grade my paper.

According to the grading standards at Penn Foster if you technically fail with a 1%, they do allow a retake but the maximum grade you can get goes from 100% to 70%. So that will affect your grade as well. Keep it in mind for the final that you have to take once you receive graded project back.

I am thinking about putting that class on hold, so I can take my finals in my other classes. I am also considering taking intermediate accounting from SL as a replacement for this class in my concentration group. ( just in case):p
