TESU ASBA. Need help with a degree plan - nurselu - 06-09-2016 Please help me with a degree plan for TESU ASBA. I am assisting a friend of mine to get an Associates. Is it possible for her to get this done before July 1st? She has about 33 credits to transfer to TESU. Thanks y'all. TESU ASBA. Yes and no, it depends on her speed/time available to study, and also the courses of studies she has completed and yet to complete. What are the completed courses and where did she get her credits from? We need to know what else she has, ie Certs. Doing the PLA will not work in this case as it'll take time, she can ALEKS the math, take as many SL as needed, and just swing at the Saylor courses. TESU ASBA. This is not a reasonable timeline at all. Or did you mean just have the degree plan by July 1st? TESU ASBA. Need help with a degree plan - dfrecore - 06-09-2016 She needs to list her credits. There are very specific courses she needs to complete for the ASBA: Associate in Science in Business Administration Degree Program I personally would not do this, as the $2000 residency waiver is a crazy amount of money to spend for a AA. If she's only wanting to do an associates and in the future not deciding on a BA, an AS at COSC maybe cheaper (use of FEMA credits too). TESU ASBA. I would think so long as she declared both the AS and BS before she paid it she would be all right. I mean the "normal" sequence would be two years between the two. TESU ASBA. Need help with a degree plan - jsd - 06-09-2016 Yeah, the residency waiver is not an annual fee, it's a one time fee. If anything, it might be valid once, only for the specific degree you're waiving the residency for. Two degrees could require two waivers, regardless of timeframe. I wouldn't assume that doing everything within a year would waive the residency requirement for both degrees, i'd definitely get clarification from TESU first. The year thing seems arbitrary. TESU ASBA. Need help with a degree plan - bjcheung77 - 06-09-2016 I was wondering about getting an ASBA+ASMSN Biology at the same time, along with my BSBA, so I emailed them... and had a thread about it. I am a weird person who like to strike more degrees with less fees, 3 degrees, 1 grad/1 residency waiver (in 1 year), all mentioned here. http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-thomas-edison-charter-oak-specific/26139-cosc-tesu-two-degree-options.html TESU ASBA. I guess one could always delay applying for graduation until they're sure they are less than a year away from the last degree. It truly sucks though. I could see someone losing $2k just because they had an illness or some such. TESU ASBA. Need help with a degree plan - TrailRunr - 06-09-2016 $2k is a lot of money for the ASBA degree that has just about zero value in the job market. If it's a super rare job where it's a required HR checkbox and one of those unadvertised jobs (internal company transfer) with no competition... then maybe it's worth the $2k.... Otherwise you'll barely meet the rare HR checkbox and lose badly to the competition with BA degrees while emptying your wallet of $2k. |
