West Virginia Northern CC AAS BOG - morig - 09-19-2016

I have recently enrolled in the Board of Governors program with West Virginia Northern CC.
Luckily I was able to transfer 100% of all my course work.
Although I am currently waiting of my transcript evaluation ( on hold due to an address issue) I was told by my adviser that I have completed all requirements and will be able to apply for graduation soon.

I had another thread about a BOG board of governors program :
http://www.degreeforum.net/general-education-testing-discussion/22103-board-governors-s-3.html

but one of the reasons I did not pursue it was due to the academic residency requirements.

Once I have my full evaluation on hand I will post it.

My guess if the following for the credit transfer :
Communications – 6 hours- ENG 1 +2 from straighter line
Social Science/Humanities – 6 hours - Clep A&I Liturature/Span clep
Computer literacy – 3 hours - TEEX courses
Math/Science – 6 hours - Aleks algebra/trig
General Electives-39 credit hours - Military credits.

Finally I am hoping they will allow me to graduate from this program even though it states on the web site that they also have an academic residency requirement.

You are one lucky fellow as if I recall correctly, they bumped it from a 3 credit residency requirement to a 15 credit residency requirement.

well I think it was only West Virginia University at Parksburg that upped the residency reqs.
I also remember reading that the academic residency requirements may be waived.

AAS BOG in West Virginia is a great deal. In adult education West Virginia is a LEADER. Most progressives States suck in adult education.

Is it specifically going to be waived at Northern? or is there another school in West Virginia doing the same?
I should say, are there any other community colleges such as WV Northern CC that's waiving them?
If that's the case and they waive the 3 credit requirement, they'll essentially be cheaper than COSC for an AA/AS!
