I see that it is only listed until September for the terms offered for the TECEP examination. Is it possible that TESU will require the class instead of being able to test out of this course or is it only listed for the month that it is up to and will add october, november and beyond in the next few weeks?

sounds suspicious but <sarcasm> it's not like TESU to make significant changes, not communicate them very well (if at all), and let others stumble onto them.</sarcasm>

Other TECEPs (I checked three) are listed the same way with September the last term. So the TECEP doesn't seem to be in imminent danger of disappearing. It's also possible to register for the Nov term. That being said, lots of negative changes have occurred recently and I would want to pass it sooner rather than later to avoid the risk of being required to spend $1500 on an actual course.

Whoah whoah whoah! Are TECEPs something that I can purchase now and take later? I plan to enroll at TESU tomorrow!

You can take them any time within the 12 week term you registered for, but not after the term.

Great! Then I'll have 12 weeks to study for things I'm already supposed to know before I take this, LOL!!!! Watch me do it! (I pray I don't have to :willynilly: )

I just logged onto MyEdison account, and was able to choose the Strategic Management TECEP for the November term. So it doesn't seem to be a problem.

So I have applied and paid my $75 application fee! Can I buy the TECEP now, or do I have to wait until I am officialy "accepted". And, am I over reacting? LOL!

I think you have to be accepted, or at least have been given your online account info.

I wouldn't worry, I can sign up so there's no issue right now.

In the past, when they changed (not cancelled) TECEP's, they gave a lot of notice (for instance, if you were going to take a TECEP a few months out, it would start to show a new TECEP for current and future terms, and you would be able to sign up for the current one through a certain date). So, they have given lots of notice in the past about these.

Not saying that won't change, but I wouldn't panic at this point.

Whew, okay, thank you! I was going to apply tomorrow anyway, but when I saw this the alarm bells went off!!!! LOL! I already missed the TECEP residency (which I guess, time wise, isn't *soooo* bad) and I also missed the old Arnold Fletcher qualifications. I don't want to miss anything else!
