Hey Guys,
I'm looking to start TESU, and I am planning on doing some CLEP/DSST, there's a testing center near me that is college too, a testing center (I assume), if I were to take the test there, how does TESU knows I took the test and pass it?
Do I get a transcript (from who) or show my test result? (Where do I get a copy from) I'm not sure how all this works, I want to know what I'm in for before I start.

At least with CLEP you have an option to submit your score to a school right away. You just enter your school's code. If you don't, the scores are on a CLEP transcript. Whenever you want to submit the transcript , you request it from CLEP, pay a fee and they send it.

To send your CLEP/DSST scores directly to TESU as you test, you have to be enrolled there (or at least have applied). Otherwise, they just sit there for a while and then disappear, as they don't have a student to apply them to. But they don't disappear from CLEP/DSST, just from TESU.
This is free to do by the way (send the scores directly).
If you choose not to send them immediately, then CLEP/DSST keeps them on file, and you can request a transcript be sent at a later date. Just go to their website and search for transcript, and you can find it. It does cost money at that point, maybe $15-$20.

Or would you have to send them to ACE itself while at the testing site?

Can't anything ACE-recommended be "pulled" over to your ACE transcript for free? I would think you would do the CLEP/DSST the same way as any other ACE course, but I could certainly be wrong.
Unfortunately, even if you get them on ACE, I think I remember reading that TESU still makes you send the transcripts directly from CLEP/DSST anyway, but I could be wrong there too.

I did apply already and pay the $75, I'm waiting my transcript get to them and be evaluated. So since I applied I can send it directly to them to apply it, I can also keep taking more and send it to them correct?
I am currently doing a Saylor course also, and will do the proctor exam for college credit, any idea how that will work?
Thanks again for the help guys, I'm new at this CLEP/DSST, ACE and all of the other good stuff. I wish I had known about this earlier.

CLEP cannot be pulled over to the ACE transcript the same way, because of College Board. When I try to add my recent CLEP to my ACE transcript, I get the following message.

Ah! I see! Awkward. But doable! When I take the College Comp with Essay CLEP, I'll just forward the score to ACE, and then just give TESU the ACE Transcript. Thank you!

There's no reason to go through ACE for CLEP or DSST unless you really want to. You just use the TESU code as the institution you want the scores sent to.

I was thinking that there's someone on here who lost all their CLEP/DSST scores because it was more than 20 years - if they had sent them to ACE, they would still be on the ACE transcript.
