I've been searching the forums, but can't find any info on this. So I'm hoping one of the experts on these forums will know.

Do you know where can you study for an accredited speech pathology assistant certificate online that is affordable?

I'd like to have the option for the credits to transfer into an undergraduate program.

Thanks in advance!

For questions like this, I find the best resource is a website for the professional association(s) that provide education, certification and publish industry related journals/textbooks/manuals etc. in that field . In your case that would be the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Credit transfer is going to be dependent on the individual school. Looking for a place with a transfer agreement might be helpful.

Maybe this would be helpful for the OP? Not sure: Technical Training Programs for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants

In addition to the link I posted, COSC has a certificate program but I'm not sure if they have all the classes for it.

Ladylearner's ASHA link is the best place to start. Where would your end goal job be? Many places now require a Master's degree or higher for entry level.

All places require a master's degree to be a speech-language therapist. Slp assistants vary by state.

Oh yes, I've heard of that one.

OP, if you let us know where you live and/or plan to work and what your goals are, we could help you more.

Thank you so much for the links and advice! I'm hoping to do a degree in Psychology from COSC or TESU with a minor in speech pathology. I'd like to get most of my prerequisites out of the way in the undergraduate level.

I am in Asia and I'm currently looking into two graduate programs. The prerequisites are pretty much the same as in the USA, so a certificate or online courses would be great. I'm hoping to find something affordable.

Goals are to work as a speech pathology assistant/therapist (in the future). OR counselor.

I checked out their website. It's not very clear if the complete program can be finished online.
