is 17 considered a minor in California ?
because I thought minors couldn't sign contracts or legal documents
how can you be a cpa and not be allowed to sign documents

Minors can become emancipated by petitioning the court, besides 17 is old enough for the army.

We should celebrate bright, hard-working high achievers, not shackle them with idiotic rules and restrictions.

The CPA is one of the most valuable credentials a person can earn, and if you know what you want to do with your life and you can get these credentials at such a young age, that's even better! It's true that some people learn faster than others, and getting an early start certainly helps, but people like her are a reminder to all of us that humans are capable of achieving far more than we realize, if we're willing to work at it.
