FWIW, I'm literally *just* off the phone with ALEKS (customer service rep April), 2:45pm ET on Wednesday 30NOV. She verified my account (I'm at 60-something % for Business Statistics as I type this), and said that as long as I finish up sometime this week, and request the credit, "you should be fine." I specifically asked whether midnight tonight is a hard deadline for credit transfer, and she said, "No. As long as you finish up soon, like this week if you can, you should be able to get the credit through ACE." She put me on hold to confirm this info with someone else in the office.
I'm going to try to get there by tonight, but if not, I'll still try tomorrow! Has anyone else had a different answer from customer service today?

I can't figure out where there is so much ALEKS confusion. They are ACE evaluated through Dec 31, 2016 - everyone can see that on the updated ACE database. You have until Dec 31 to complete your courses. There has been no change in the ALEKS procedure- ACE evaluated credit is not allowed to make changes without new evaluation. ALEKS has not requested a new evaluation, thus it's very likely that 12/31/2016 is the end.

ACE's database shows that the courses were in fact extended to 12/31, btw.
Well I got off the phone with customer service at ALEKS and they told me I need to have the ace request sent in by today. with 70% completed

I think the confusion is that although ACE did an extension, it was also stated that ALEKS was not going to be renewing their ACE recommendation, so they were not planning on taking ACE up on the extension, and were sticking with their original expiration date. So I guess we will see what happens tomorrow.

Thank You! 'cookderosa' for bringing this entire ALEKS expiration to our/my attention. I was able to finish Pre-Calculus and Business Statistics earlier this month. It set me back on another course, but it was well worth it.
The uncertainty of changing requirements for credit or the thought of non-renewal was more than enough to get me motivated to complete those remaining courses.

Well as of right now at 9:50 am central time Aleks is still on the ACE database showing until 12/31. I'llkeep an eye on it through out the day, i am being cautiously being optimistic, mainly because I missed the original cut off by 3%. Grrr

I feel ya...i am 76/81 completed to reach 70%. 12 hours straight

This is killing me... I hope we know by today what the official word is. If it's Dec. 31 I am buying Aleks now and knocking out intermediate algebra in 2 weeks..
