Not interested in becoming licensed, but I'd love to get my PhD or PsyD- the online programs I've seen are all tremendously expensive, and I'm not interested in brick and mortar programs. Any suggestions?

Have you looked at https://www.calsouthern.edu/ They are regionally accredited and pretty inexpensive. I was looking at them to take a few courses as electives for my Master of Social Work program. Only downside is they don't do Federal financial aid.

online clinical psych PhD = the only such (expensive) APA-sanctioned program, Fielding Grad U
If licensure isn't the goal, then PhD's in either clinical psych in non-APA-accredited programs or in related fields, such as behavioral health, are poss alternatives
Pls post as to what you decide or find out
Being interested in eventual licensure, myself, I'm trying to figure out what I'll do...

APA program accreditation isn't required in every state or every field. industrial/ occupational psychology, in my state, doesn't require it for example. It's best to check your local requirements
