TESU Questions - defscarlett - 12-14-2016

So I've been out of the loop with the edu-hobby for awhile and I'm trying to help someone else. I've been trying to read up on the changes...

If you are transferring in all credits to get a degree with TESU, how much would the total cost be? Both for associates and bachelors.

Also, if a student was enrolled under MDCP in 2014, took a TECEP in 2015 and is no longer in the military as of 2015. Would a degree plan that was planned from 2014 still be applicable? Or would the student be under the new requirements?

Is it possible to get the Cornerstone course waived or transferred in for a Bachelors degree?

Is there anything else that I need to be aware of as far as changes since early 2015?

You cannot transfer in "all" credits anymore, at least not easily. At a minimum you will have to take the Capstone TECEP @ TESU. Otherwise, the cost is $2000 for the waiver, $323 for the graduation fee, and $75 for the application fee. The TECEP cost will depend on your NJ residency status.

They are waiving the cornerstone for students transferring in large amounts of credits.

For the BSBA are they still accepting Strategic Mgmt from Penn Foster?

Strategic Management cannot be transferred in anymore, must be taken at TESU as course or TECEP. It was a recent change. For military students, TESU has different requirements as far as maintaining enrollment. I'm not sure what the eligibility requirements are for the military programs. It would be a good idea to check the website or check with TESU since there have been many changes to the degree programs since 2014.

If you're going for the BSBA, your best bet for the Capstone is to take their TECEP at $114 and transfer the rest into the degree.
