I read that at Thomas edision you can only transfer in 90 ace credits and 80 credit from a community college. If i take Teceps before enrolling will they be counted as community college transfer credits or just thomas edision credits? Most of my credits come from communit collge but i plan to complete 60 ace credits for the general education requirement and start my core courses through Teceps before enrolling. I dont want to lose credit by going over what I can bring in.

It's not 90 from ACE, it's 90 from a particular source (like straighter line, saylor's.org, study.com, etc)

TECEP do not count against xfer credit.

To clarify, you could transfer in every single one of your courses (provided alternatives exist) if you're varying your sources up and don't go over the 90 limit at one particular place (or 80 in the case of a CC).

The only exception would be the capstone, which can be done as a TECEP for business degrees, but must be done as an online course for all others.

So is there any limit on Teceps for those who are not enrolled yet?

No, but a TECEP is cheaper if you're enrolled. I wouldn't spend the extra money just to avoid enrollment, which you'll have to do at some point anyway. At least once you've enrolled, you've locked in your degree plan and can avoid some possible changes.

Yes. For matriculated students, the fee is $114/3cr exam, and for non-matriculated students, it's $156.
