Have any of you taken both of these courses at LSU? How are the courses set up? Proctored exams? Open book? Timed exams? Also, how long did it take you to complete each course? I know they're both self-paced, just looking for a realisic time frame. Last question is do you feel like you actually learned something from the courses and retained the information?

I'm trying to finish up my accounting courses as quick as possible so that I can advance to another position within my state department, but I really want to learn the material.

I took Auditing through LSU.

The courses are self-paced, closed-book exams through ProctorU, with boring, but easy assignments. They require you to be registered in the course for a minimum of 2 months, which is quite manageable. They're not the highest quality courses, and you do kind of get what you pay for. (in my opinion)

Thank you for that info. I think I'm gonna take Intermediate I and II with Penn Foster becauase of the cost, and then take Auditing with LSU.
