Or rather, re-started. I had signed up in December, but the mentor poo-pooed my first chapter. With various other life chaos at the time I decided to drop instead of trying to climb my way out of the dismal first grade with no helpful direction.
I found these forums and from the Capstone threads decided to take Caicco for the March term. I've already gotten my first chapter back with a 97. I'm about to start writing chapter 2, while simultaneously doing the actual original research part of my project.
Thanks to everyone that has posted useful advice on what mentors are helpful for this course I may actually finish this degree. Woo!

Congrats! I'm signed up for April so I'm pouring through resources trying to come up with THE topic. I feel like if I can get that figured out I'll be ok. It is just getting started that is my roadblock right now.
Keep us updated as you go along as those of us who haven't started yet would like any advice we can get.
