After reading the thread the other day by BingCherry, I thought I'd double check to make sure some of the courses I have planned transfer properly.
First, I thought I read that SL's Introduction to Communication - COM101 will satisfy TESU's Oral Communication requirement, however, SL says it transfers in as Fundamentals of Speech - COM-108 which is not a TESU oral com option. [SUP] SL to TESU - TESU gen ed

So does SL Com101 satisfy the oral communication requirement? I want to double check. If it does, which one in your opinion is faster/eaiser, SL or Study.com?
Next, Study.com's Psychology 105: Research Methods in Psychology transfers to TESU as PSY-322 : Research in Exp Psych. [SUP][1][/SUP] I thought someone said they got it count for TESU's Research Methods in the Social Sciences. Good idea to email TESU and confirm this?

Yes, SL's course counts there. When TESU lists a specific course as satisfying a requirement, it's because they offer that particular course. But they will also accept any course that satisfies the Oral Communication requirement - and SL's does. Anything that's Oral Comm, Public Speaking, Speech will work.
Research Methods is a Experimental Psych course. It satisfies that requirement. Research Methods in the Social Sciences is not a requirement for the Psych degree. Ethics in the Social Sciences is a requirement though, and Study.com is coming up with that as well.
If you're not getting a Psych degree, then you should list what degree you're getting, so someone else who is getting that degree can tell you if the course works there instead.

I took SL Intro to Communications. It currently lives in my newest TESU evaluation as COM-108 Fundamentals of Speech.
Joeman, cannot advise. In SL, in addition to coursework and tests, there were like 3 speeches you had to upload, so I don't know how that compares to Study.com.

Agree with High_Order1 on not be able to compare the two. I can share that the course with SL was solid and if you knock out their 3 recorded presentation assignments first and focus on the exams second, I have a hard time not seeing you enjoy the course. If you like to present it will be a fast course for you and if this is not your strength, it will assist in developing some new skills that will be valuable in life.

I read a bunch of threads on both. Study.com supposedly grades your stuff in 48 hours, so it may be faster in terms of obtaining the credit. Both seem about the same in terms of what you must do in the course. SL seems to be somewhat more popular. Both are said to be easy.

Also, Study.com used to have an easier course. It was only be worth 2 credits and before that, 1 credit. So if you read about the ease of their course, check how old the post is. They now have 3 speech assignments just like SL, and it's worth 3 credits.

I would say for the 3 assignments in SL you really are only doing 2 that count. The first in basically where you introduce yourself in a 2-3 min video and when I took it, it did not count toward your grade. The video really was to help you get used to the camera, the format of turning it in, etc. I really enjoyed the course myself, because it really made sense and I actually learned a lot when it comes to oral communication. The other two are a bit of work but overall not hard. I got the whole course done the third week in Jan. Don't know if this helps!

I believe I read you get extra credit for the first one, which means you can get a lower score on the 2-3 main parts
I'm planning to go with study.com because of cost.
