New Here on Wednesday - barbara2bba - 11-16-2007 Registered here on Wednesday and Took my first Clep today in Intro Sociology using only IC and passed with a 64! I am going to go to Excelsior, have a few credits in Biology, Psych, Nutrition, and Comp that will be transferred from 20 years ago. I was soooooooo scared. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, mostly by the way that they phrased the questions. My goal is 6 credits per week - hope that is realistic. That could change depending on an interview and a relocation. Locally, the clep testing center only tests 2X per month, so I am looking now to drive a little further to get weekly testing. New Here on Wednesday - Scholar Interrupted - 11-16-2007 Your schedule sounds ambitious to me, but then I'm holding down a demanding full-time job. Your situation may be different. I, too, am at Excelsior and brought along my miscellaneous credits from 20 years ago. New Here on Wednesday - barbara2bba - 11-16-2007 I have 5 kids under 11, but I own my own home based business doing executive search and decided to dedicate a few hours a week to doing this degree. I'm kind of busy nonetheless! Maybe the 6 credits are more than I should go for, we'll see how I do next week. |
