I was wondering if anyone can tell me of a Statistics online class. Other than DSST
Thanks for any help
Fred

I don't know of a specific one Fred, but my local community college offers online telecourses and internet courses which are both available online that cost the same as a course I would attend in person. You should check if your local community college has something like that (our class is called Elementary Statistics) because it's usually cheaper to take a class from a school in your own state.

I'm taking stats through Thomas Edison State College. It's $165 per credit though, so I second the suggestion about contacting your local community college! Mine offers it in person ($90 per credit) as well as online ($133) per credit. You have to figure the cost of books too, my stats text was $145! USED:eek:

Arizona Western College

Arizona Western College. Community college offering online classes. $52 a credit hour. They have one offering for an online Applied Statistics course starting in January. Might want to check them out.

Just a caution to anyone, sometimes classes don't transfer well into arts and sciences if they have the word "applied" in the title- a perfectly good class can get dumped to an elective category- not always- but I would check first.
