What are some UL I can take with Study.com to fulfil the BSLS for TESU? - afiabanks - 05-03-2017

Hello everyone,

First off I love this site and everyone here is so amazing. I am interested in getting a Bachelor in liberal studies with TESU and was wondering what are some UL that I can take with study.com. I received the guardian scholarship 2 days ago and i want to use it wisely. If anyone has any suggestion in a degree plan, I'm definitely willing to hear.

looking forward to hear from everyone.

These are the course I completed so far:

Aleks- Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Intro to Statistics(In progress)
Sophia-Developing Effective Teams
Institute-Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct

I decided on the liberal studies, social sciences concentration and used the following from study.com:
Abnormal Psychology
Social Psychology
Research Methods in Psychology
Organizational Behavior (its a business course but comes across as Psychology)
Vietnam (I just heard that they no longer count the lower level course as UL - its got to be the UL one which I think is maybe HIS 308).

For something outside study.com there are half a dozen literature courses on shmoop that are UL and you can get a Humanities concentration.
Or you can do a combination of the two and get the regular LS degree.

There are a few others but those are the ones I took.

On ACENET it shows all of them as lower level. Have you had luck getting them accepted as UL?

These are the UL courses from Study.com that can be used in the BALS:
Study.com course @TESU
History 108: History of the Vietnam War/ HIS-351 : A History of Vietnam War 3
Psychology 104: Social Psychology / PSY-370 : Social Psychology 3
Psychology 105: Research Methods in Psy/ PSY-322 : Research in Exp Psych 3
Psychology 106: Abnormal Psychology/ PSY-350 : Abnormal Psychology 3
Business 107: Organizational Behavior/ MAN-311 : Organizational Behavior 3
Business 108: Business Ethics/ PHI-384 : Ethics and Bus Prof. 3
(you will still need a different Ethics course for Gen Ed, such as Saylors)
Business 113: Business Communication/ COM-300 : Intro to Bus Comm 3
Biology 103: Microbiology/ BIO-351 : Microbiology 3
Biology 106: Pathophysiology/ BIO-316 : Pathophysiology 3

Social Psychology & Research in Experimental Psychology are not too difficult. And just think of all that overlap info if you get started on the Psy courses. There are plenty of 200L courses also. I used most of these (minus BIO & ethics) in my first degree. Just an fyi, it has been posted on the Forums that the Vietnam course will be downgraded to a 200L course at TESU. Not sure of the date, (vaguely remember June 7th??) but if you complete it before the downgrade, it is supposed to still be accepted as UL.

Yes, they applied the same way on my evaluation for PSY 104-105-106; BUS 107; and the Shmoop courses. I think its pretty safe since several of us have had them transfer in within the last month or two and they've transferred consistently.
