Principles of Mgmt CLEP vs Principles of Supervision DSST - jessikalauren - 06-01-2017

In theory, they sound the same....

Just how similar are they? I've taken the Principles of Supervision DSST already, and I started going through the IC flash cards for Principles of Management and it seems there's a lot of overlap.

Has anyone taken both and can let me know? I am scheduled to take two CLEPs this weekend so please let me know if I should focus my study time on the other one (Principles of Marketing).

Thanks!

Principles of Marketing was pretty easy, I did minimal studying on some of the terminology and walked out of the test with a 59. Now everyone is different but if you have taken a bunch of these you know what to expect and I think you can prep quickly for it.

I took management on a Friday and went back on Monday to take supervision. There's a lot of overlap. I thought management was actually a tad easier. Supervision tosses in some economics and ops management questions, at least my exam did, management was more straightforward. If you don't have any prior knowledge, I would spend more time on marketing.
