TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - BingCherry - 06-02-2017 I sent a new ACE transcript to TESU on May 2nd. ACE says they got a read receipt from TESU on May 3rd. No evaluation done- even yesterday. (I had called last week as they said before the 25th it would be done- nope! So I called to find out why. Nobody knew why). After calling several times this week as it still wasn't being done and not getting anywhere, I spent about 2 hrs on the phone yesterday being passed around person to person. They had lost it! Seriously? Finally got someone to promise it will be done today. It was, but too late for me to call them. NOT happy. They left off a few Straighterline courses I passed, along with the Vietnam course, and more importantly - the psychology Upper levels courses were DENIED as UL and placed as lower level. 237 & 238 I will be calling on Monday. They have to fix this. banghead I start my capstone on Monday. I'm too stressed for this... TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - rlw74 - 06-02-2017 Oh no!!! The psychology courses you took transferred in as UL for me just within the last month so I know that isn't correct. It is possible they haven't finished the review. They do it in pieces for some reason. I had some but not all courses show up on my evaluation and then get moved around and it took several days for it to all finally work itself out. I wouldn't worry too much. If you look at my signature line you can see what course numbers mine transferred in as - what course numbers did they give you? TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - dfrecore - 06-02-2017 Make sure you include the transfer guide from Study.com's website: Thomas Edison State University Yeah, I'd stay on top of them. TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - ndelco - 06-02-2017 I sent transcripts from SL in mid-May. TESU emailed me on the 27th saying they had received the transcripts. I sent a ticket yesterday to add planned courses in my eval and figured I might as well ask about the transcripts. The reply was that the SL courses will take up to 35 business days to shows in my eval. WHAT POSSIBLE REASON is there for needing 35 business days to add in four completed courses for an enrolled student?!? They've got to get it together over there. TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - aviator guy - 06-02-2017 I sent a couple of transcripts (ACE and Saylor) April 20 something. Still not applied. I'm also not in a rush, but still... geez. TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - Gymfan15 - 06-02-2017 And here I thought that TESU took their sweet time with my initial Liberty University transcript eval (about a week) but now I realize that must have been because they put a expedite note on my account, lol. I've sent over the rest of my transcripts (except ACE because why pay multiple times when I'm not done earning credits yet) and I fully expect it will be weeks if not a month before those get applied to my transcript. I don't mind; I'm not really in a hurry, but I'm wondering how this would impact those of us who plan to apply for graduation in October. I was planning to be earning credits pretty closely to the deadline and if transcript evals take awhile, I'm not sure what to do...do I apply for graduation by the deadline and just let them know that my transcripts are on the way? And the eval is on them, not me? Will the system LET me apply for graduation without all of my credits filled or marked as in progress? TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - Joeman200 - 06-02-2017 All these courses that people transfer often (like study.com and straighterline) shouldn't take more than a day IMO... My theory is that they take long on purpose so that you end up paying more fees/stay enrolled longer. Colleges are businesses after all, even the gov funded ones. TESU ...disappointed here. SIGH - EI2HCB - 06-02-2017 I think it's more to do with ACE recommendations are beginning to change and the Evaluation staff need to check which particular class you took and what it now applies to. For example DSST Organizational Behavior will have two different versions to be checked when you send it the transcript. In the old days it was easier "its worth 3 upper level" now it will depend on what version you took and what the school has decided to implement based on the recommendations. Yes, you apply by the deadline, and then you can send in transcripts after that date. TESU ...disappointed here. TESU doesn't make you pay for being an enrolled student (no semester or term based fees) so this wouldn't apply. I think they are backed up right now. But in general, they take way too long to get this done. |
