I got my Bachelor's at Fort Hays State University. It has been great to have on the resume and its legitimacy has never been questioned like other online only institutions. Cheapest Online History Masters Programs... am I missing any? - dewisant - 06-26-2017 Nice thread! Cheapest Online History Masters Programs... am I missing any? - DavidHume - 06-26-2017 Slippery Rock University has an online MA in history for $530/credit out of state or $483/credit for Pennsylvania residents Cheapest Online History Masters Programs... am I missing any? - french fri25 - 06-27-2017 I am also in the same boat as the OP. I am military so I am very much considering Liberty University considering how cheap it is. I honestly do not like how limited the class choices are at Fort Hays for online grad students in history. And I actually believe AMU to have the best class selection amongst most programs offered online. Unfortunately, the fact that it is an online only, for-profit institution is the only thing holding me back, despite all the great things I hear about the school and especially their history program. I've been looking at Missouri State as well, which seems like it could be a great choice. I am just unsure what the BEST option is for me. Hopefully this thread picks up some steam though and we get some more insight from others who have taken grad classes in history at some of the aforementioned schools. If I was going to get a history degree, AMU/APU would be where I would do it. I LOVE their choices for history courses. My son is super interested in military stuff, and I'm tempted to let him get a certificate in Explosive Ordinance Disposal because AWESOME! |
