ALEKS question - Mab81 - 08-03-2017

Hi, I can't get ahold of the spreadsheet for the ASBA and I know there are 2 math requirements (quantitative literacy AND mathematics) and I am wondering if ALEKS Introduction to Statistics would fulfill one of those?

RE: ALEKS question - bjcheung77 - 08-03-2017

Yup, it's fine. If you are going for the BSBA, it will require College Algebra and Statistics.
If you're going to pay for ALEKS anyways, go for the Intermediate Algebra as well, and if you like...
Get Precalculus OR Trigonometry done, You pay $20 for 12 credits, that's cheap!
Basically both Intermediate Algebra and one of these two will be gen ed elective credits.

Thank you bjcheung! I was thinking of doing the ASBA since I am not sure if I have the financial ability to go for a full bachelors now. Is there an ASBA spreadsheet floating around anywhere, do you know? thanks!!!

Also I was just confused because the ALEKS title on the course is Introduction to Statistics. I wanted to make sure that was the correct one. Since it's not just called 'Statistics'.

RE: ALEKS question - bjcheung77 - 08-03-2017

Um... the ASBA is the BSBA but only half the courses... view the BSBA template and view the requirements for the ASBA on TESU's webpage. Note the required courses and you're done. In regards to Statistics, ALEKS has 3 - they transfer to TESU as the same course, take your pick...

Is the BSBA spreadsheet anywhere online? when i try to click your signature it doesn't work any more. Sad thank you!

*gasp* I knew that! And I updated the Beginners Guide with my dropbox details.
Go crazy and review them! Again, the Beginner's guide sticky has the info...
