Will Strayer University Credits Transfer to TESU - yb1 - 11-08-2017

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I am asking for a friend. Will Strayer University.

I thought they were NA but a quick google search says they are an RA school

according to Wikipedia

Strayer University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (part of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools), one of the six regional accrediting bodies recognized by the Department of Education.[11][12] In addition, Strayer University holds the necessary licensing and approvals to operate and grant degrees in each state where its campuses are located, according to the university's website

Has anyone had issues transferring Strayer credits to the Big 3?

Depending on the course, as long as they are not developmental courses, it will transfer from a two year community college to a four year college or university. It's just that for TESU, if it came from a community college, it's Lower Level. But if the same course came from a four year college that indicates it's a 300/400 level course, it'll come in as Upper Level - yes, even if the syllabus is pretty much identical.

even if it is a for-profit school like Strayer?

Schools don't care about tax status when transferring credits. They only care about accreditation. TESU took my credits from two for-profit schools.

thanks that is what I wanted to hear.

She has most of the credits needed for a BSBA she would probaly just have a bout 30 credits left that she could do through SL and Study  + Aleks (if that is still an option) and the capstone.

Yeah for-profit is fine if it's regionally and not nationally accredited. TESU had no problem with my for-profit Patten University credits, for example.

ALEKS is no longer an option.
