advice for which degree and college to choose - mikeid811 - 12-26-2017 Hello, I really enjoy this forum and this is my first post so I appreciate any feedback that anyone has. I am choosing between Thomas Edison and Oak State. I need a business degree. If it ends up being the same I would be partial to a degree in finance, but what is most important to me is being able to do it with as many exams and as little courses as possible. Here is a list of the clep exams I have taken since I have started in August. Introduction to Educational Psychology Introductory Psychology American Literature Introductory Business Law Principles of Microeconomics Information Systems College Composition Social Sciences and History Western Civilization I History of the United States I Principles of Macroeconomics Principles of Microeconomics Principles of Marketing Principles of Management Analyzing and Interpreting Literature Biology Financial Accounting American Government RE: advice for which degree and college to choose - dfrecore - 12-26-2017 I'm not knowledgeable about the Charter Oak State College (COSC) degrees, but am pretty good with TESU. So, here's a degree plan for you, showing all of the CLEP's you've taken and where they go. The only question I have: Did you take College Comp with Essay? Or without? If without, then you got credit for English Comp I. If you took it with, then you got English I & II. Good luck! I was really nervous about passing that one too but I am glad I did it with the essay. RE: advice for which degree and college to choose - dfrecore - 12-26-2017 Well then, here's your updated spreadsheet showing that change. You've completed a lot of exams, 66cr worth! Remember that many schools have a maximum they will take from a single source - TESU limits you to 90cr. So if you want to take any additional CLEP exams, you can only bring in 24 more credits from there. |
