TECEP Registration? - GoldieLux - 01-14-2018

Ok, so I've registered for a TECEP a long, long time ago, but it seems as though I can't figure out how to do it now. Do you enroll at the school? I see that I still have a TESU Online Student Services account, but it says that I'm "inactive", but doesn't tell how to reactivate.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Kel

You have to pay for and take the TECEP within the term you register for it, so how long ago is "a long, long time"? It's probably expired and you need to start over.

Yes, you need to be an active student to be able to enroll. I would contact the school, and get active again (I'd ask for them to activate you rather than go through the entire application process if you can).

Thanks! Yes, I'm going to see if I can get reactivated. I have no issue paying their enrollment fee, but don't want to go through a bunch of paperwork.

You can take a TECEP without being enrolled. They charge a little more.

But it's good to use for enrollment. Many of us take a TECEP we don't need, just to get enrolled. It keeps you enrolled for a year.

If you're going to take just one TECEP, then pay the $156 for a non-matriculated student. If you might take two or more, then it's cheaper to pay the $75 application fee, declare for some degree, and get the TECEPs for $114. Definitely call, though, you might get to become an enrolled student with no fee since it seems you might have been an enrolled student before.

Oh, I would consider $156 a lot more. It seems like they raised it to encourage enrollment.
