TESU BALS Evaluation updated with AA completion? - triforce828 - 02-08-2018
Today while checking to see if some classes had been transcripted, I noticed a change in the BA Academic Evaluation.
At the very end of the transcript it has a Prior Degrees section and lists the AA with the March Graduation date.
I haven't received any emails regarding the AA being validated, I was getting a little worried.
But this looks like a very good sign!

I just noticed the same for my BA. I haven't received an email declaring the certification, but I'm excited to see something posted.

Is this something you guys applied for separately? I only ever talked to advisors about the BA but I wouldn't mind an AA too..

You can always ask advising to add an associate's to your account. It will generate a second eval. If you don't end up earning it, no harm done. I had an ASNSM on my account, but would have needed an extra course to get it, and decided to pass.

You have to add it. For example, on the way to getting my BSBA, I had all the credits needed for the ASBA, but didn't get it because I didn't add it to my account.

Just an FYI: you can earn your AA and BA by paying one graduation fee IF you apply for graduation for BOTH In the same graduation cycle. We decided to pay two graduation fees -- AA in March, BA (hopefully) in December.
@Davewill -- did the incomplete ASNSM evaluation stay in your OSS after your Bachelor degree was certified?
I was a little sad to see the AA evaluation disappear after it was certified. Thank heavens for saving screenshots along the way. My BALS academic evaluation GE section is different than the AA one. Things that used to be complete were suddenly incomplete and moved to the BALS AOS. I emailed academic advising to change it back. I needed all my spreadsheets/evaluations to match.

Yeah it stayed. In fact it's still there today, although I'm fairly certain that if I decided to return to it (I won't), I'd have to move to the new catalog.

I called TESU academic advising on Friday. They did a quick evaluation over the phone and added the AA for me. Going to pay my graduation fees tomorrow and fill out the second degree request for the AA.

Why would you want an AA when you already have an AAS, and are getting a BALS? It doesn't add anything to your resume.
