Math 98: Math for Everyday Life - Tripletmom - 02-27-2018 Does anyone know if this math course (from Study.com) will transfer to TESU? Will TESU accept most ACE/NCCRS courses assuming they fit into your degree plan? Thanks so much! RE: Math 98: Math for Everyday Life - dfrecore - 02-27-2018 This course doesn't seem to meet their requirements (which is strange considering they accept MATH97), but they normally accept most ACE/NCCRS courses. This one has probably been deemed developmental (meaning not college-level), kind of like they didn't take ALEKS' Beginning Algebra course and don't take Shmoop's Pre-Algebra courses. RE: Math 98: Math for Everyday Life - badooble - 02-27-2018 I can confirm that Math 97 is developmental, but Math 98 gives 4 credits. This according to my TESU advisor. Both courses are NCCR approved, but only Math 97 shows up on transfer list. Could also be the advisor that got it mixed up, wouldn't surprise me. RE: Math 98: Math for Everyday Life - bjcheung77 - 02-28-2018 For the life of me, I keep thinking the Math 97 double digit courses are remedial and not for credit. But that is not the case with this course it seems. Sounds like there is a mix up with the advisor. To be on the safe side, you may want to have them take a look at it again and verify. RE: Math 98: Math for Everyday Life - Tripletmom - 02-28-2018 Thanks everyone for your input.
