RE: More Shmoop news - MNomadic - 05-23-2018 Just saw this on their page: "*ACE transferable credit can only be transferred with a paid subscription and can not be transferred during the 24-hour free trial period." I'd heard of some people that could finish a class or 2 during the free trial, get the credit and cancel their subscription so it looks like they've cracked down on that as well. RE: More Shmoop news - Sparrowhawk - 05-23-2018 I've been emailing back and forth due to my son's credits not being accepted at TESU, and just yesterday the response from Shmoop was that they are working on adding a proctoring component to their courses. So, I'm interested in what is actually going on. RE: More Shmoop news - frank.f.franky - 05-23-2018 I've always hated the name "Shmoop" and is it legal for them to call themself's a "University". Trump got in trouble for using "University" in the Trump real-estate scam school. 1st lesson, leverage is the key, the more credit you have the more you can make, call all your credit card companies and ask for an increase. 2nd lesson, now that you have money to spend (with increased credit line) pay Trump University for more classes. |
