Liberal Arts Capstone LIB-495 August 2018 Term - Lewis.Yim - 07-10-2018 Hi All, I registered for this Liberal Arts Capstone as it's the "last or latest" capstone available if I wanted to graduate in December. There are so many threads about this course, I have decided to create a thread to "link" them along with the links on the Wiki. This is to help myself, so I can get the info in one central location. Just an FYI, the course e-textbook is free and downloadable online, so that saves me some cash. Moreover, I chose the Online version instead of the Guided Study option as the discussions account for 23% of the grade. I like being interactive and it should help me with being more assertive when I ask questions or answer them. I'll be adding to this whatever info I find that is helpful towards getting prepared for this course. Please take some time to review the links and wiki for info. QUESTION: For those who are taking this course or have taken this course, the online discussions, is it discussing topics with just the classmates or is it for anyone who is taking the same course during that term? For example, a professor seems only to have about 15 students registered in their class, will these discussions be alongside other classes from different professors? The reason I am asking is, if it's just the 15 classmates, I think I would be doing a "concise/short version of discussions". But if it is a larger group base, I would like to improve my writing and write a better/longer version for these discussions. RE: Liberal Arts Capstone LIB-495 August 2018 Term - Danielp - 07-11-2018 Hello, Thank you for all the links! I'm in this course as well. RE: Liberal Arts Capstone LIB-495 August 2018 Term - Johmford - 07-11-2018 the individual modules can be found here: http://pennyphotos.com/tesu/ RE: Liberal Arts Capstone LIB-495 August 2018 Term - davewill - 07-11-2018 The discussion is just between the students in your "class". Grading on the blog posts for my class was basically participation. I always got full points. RE: Liberal Arts Capstone LIB-495 August 2018 Term - Danielp - 07-30-2018 When do I have access to the Moodle etc? I can't find any information about this. RE: Liberal Arts Capstone LIB-495 August 2018 Term - bjcheung77 - 07-30-2018 Bro, you need to read when your class starts, you won't see it until it starts. Wait until August 6 and it'll be there on the upper left corner. Yes, but I wasn't if any links were available before it. Thanks

For example, a professor seems only to have about 15 students registered in their class, will these discussions be alongside other classes from different professors? The topics of conversation are aligned with the modules of the project and are posed by the professor in advance. Each topic has its own subforum. A student posts their response to the topic and posts a minimum of two meaningful responses to their classmates (only those in their specific class). With my professor, I had to respond to five or six classmates to get full credit- no simple, "I agree" -type answers. Hope this helps!
